Unusual Chardonnay 2006 - Côteaux Champenois - J. De Telmont
L'Insolite 2006 - Coteaux Champenois - J. de Telmont is a dry white wine produced by the Telmont house. This house, known for its quality Champagnes, was bought by a group of which Leonardo di Caprio is a part to move towards the most natural wines possible.
This dry white wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, and has been aged in 1, 2 and 3 wine Burgundy oak barrels for 11 months with stirring. This aging method gives it a beautiful complexity and woody and spicy notes that blend perfectly with the aromas of white fruits and white flowers.
L'Insolite 2006 - Coteaux Champenois - J. de Telmont is a rare and unusual wine, produced in the Champagne region but without bubbles. It is a gastronomic wine, which will perfectly accompany fish and seafood dishes, as well as strong cheeses.
Don't wait any longer to discover the Insolite 2006 - Coteaux Champenois - J. de Telmont, and take advantage of our special offer on this exceptional wine. You can also offer it as a gift to your loved ones or buy it online with ease.
WUAT's opinion : If you like great "A l'Ancienne" chardonnays with fat but an acidity that allows it to cross the decades without any problems, taste this wine! We advise you to slip it in the middle of a tasting of Pulligny or Chassagne, it should pass the tests without arousing suspicion.
A little anecdote: white Côteaux Champenois are so rare that even Anne Sophie Pic cannot offer them on her wine list.
