Krug Rosé circa 1983
Absolute rarity, probably the first Cuvée rosé from Maison Krug!
Estate Overview: Krug is a world-renowned Champagne house founded in 1843 by Johann-Joseph Krug. It is renowned for its commitment to excellence and quality, as well as its exceptional and powerful Champagnes.
About the cuvée: This Krug Rosé is an absolute rarity, probably the first rosé cuvée produced by Krug in 1983. The Krug house uses a wide variety of grape varieties to produce this exceptional cuvée, with a high proportion of Pinot Noir. The champagne is produced using traditional methods and aged for several years in the cellar.
The Krug Rosé cuvée was first created in 1983 at the request of the Krug family itself. Since then, it has become one of the most popular cuvées of the house. And precisely this bottle is an absolute rarity and a real gem for collectors and champagne lovers because, judging by its cap, used only once, it is most likely the very first Krug Rosé cuvée.
