Located a few kilometers south of the Margaux appellation, Château La Lagune is one of, if not the Haut-Medoc, the most renowned. Known for its power and great aging potential, it is easy to confuse it with a Margaux cru (Lascombes or Giscours for example).

This 3rd classified growth from 1855, which extends over more than 80 hectares, benefits from 18 months of aging, 55% of which is new wood.

If you are looking for a classic style Bordeaux at a good price/pleasure ratio, this wine is for you.

The 1986 vintage is one of the most successful of the estate. The perfect maturity of the cabernets perfectly suited the expertise of the house which was able to vinify it in its classic style "tannin, wood, time". 30 years later it is finally ready to drink but still has aging potential!

Please note that a good minimum opening time or decanting is required to give it time to open.
