Louis Rapin, grandfather of Nathalie Despagne (current owner of the estate), then owner of Château La Tour Figeac, bought his neighbor's vintage in 1961, in the Pomerol appellation. He grouped other plots around this small estate to rename the whole "Château La Rose Figeac".

Following a succession within the Rapin-Despagne family, present for 2 centuries in Saint-Emilion, Nathalie inherited this beautiful estate, which she took over in 2013.

La Rose Figeac produces certified organic wines.

When tasted, this La Rose Figeac 2016 has a deep blackcurrant color.

The nose reveals notes of fresh fruit and a touch of blond wood.
