The Château Malartic-Lagravière vineyard covers around fifty hectares in total, 90% of which produce the red vintage.
The harvest took place between September 9 and 15 for the Merlots and between September 23 and 26 for the Cabernets.
WUAT's review: We tasted this wine in November 2021. To put it simply, it is a real Bordeaux, with smoky notes, dry herbs and undergrowth. Tasted at the same time as a Domaine de Chevalier 2005 (no less), it did not look pale. It even won the preference of a good part of the public. The structure is still important, it will be able to wait several years without difficulty.
If you are looking for a pleasant Bordeaux to pair with a powerful dish, this Malartic 2003 offers excellent value for money.
