Meursault 1990 - Meursault Castle
Meursault
Low stock: 1 left
In the 17th century, Meursault had two lordships, one of which houses the current Town Hall and the other on the territory where the current Château de Meursault stands.
In the 12th century, Hugues le Roux, Duke of Burgundy, donated the Château to the Monks of Cîteaux. The latter dug the cellars that the estate can now boast of.
About the 1990 vintage in Meursault: This is an exceptional vintage rated (8/10) in the same way as 2005 or 1961!
Today, the Château de Meursault produces Meursaults from different localities. Hence the existence of several vintages including the "Meursault du Château"
This clear bottle is evidence of excellent conservation, probably not marked by oxidation. A very rare Meursault not to be missed.
