The Cuvée

The Moët & Chandon "Grand Vintage" range offers only champagnes from the best vintages of the house's wine library. These wines, recently disgorged, ensure ideal conservation quality.

Each Grand Vintage reflects a unique interpretation of the year, and the 2004 vintage, marked by generous climatic conditions, gave birth to a wine that is both ample and refined. This champagne, the house's 66th vintage, benefited from more than eight years of aging on lees before its 2012 disgorgement.

The House of Moët & Chandon

With nearly three centuries of history, Moët & Chandon is a pillar of the Champagne tradition. The house is known for its prestigious production, which combines innovation and respect for the terroirs. Each Grand Vintage is a testament to Moët's expertise, highlighting the unique personality of each year.

Sensory description :

  • Color : Golden with shimmering reflections.
  • Nose : Complex aromas of white flowers, candied citrus fruits, brioche and hazelnut.
  • Palate : Ample and harmonious with a nice tension. Notes of ripe yellow fruits, honey, and a fresh and mineral finish.

Food and wine pairings :

A Champagne as refined as the Grand Vintage 2004 pairs perfectly with:

  • Starters : Scallop carpaccio, tuna tartare with citrus fruits.
  • Main courses : Veal fillet with chanterelles, risotto with white truffles.
  • Cheeses : Matured Parmesan, truffle brie.
