The estate pays particular attention to the age of the vines. The resulting philosophy is simple: use only the oldest vines to create the house's vintages. The other vines are used to produce merchant wine.

As is often the case in Burgundy, the vines are worked using "reasoned" methods. Human intervention is therefore limited to a minimum in order to allow nature and the terroir to express themselves as best they can.

The wine benefits from great finesse and present but velvety tannins. The aromas of red fruits and cherry dominate.
