Morey-St-Denis 1er cru 1987 "Les Charrières" - Domaine Anne and Hervé Sigaut

This bottle from the 1987 vintage is one of the last signed by Maurice Sigaut. The estate's vintages were subsequently signed by Maurice's son, Hervé, then later in 2004 by Hervé and his wife Anne.

The wines of the Sigaut estate need no introduction. Aged in only 25% new barrels for all the house's vintages. The aim is to let the terroir express itself above all. The estate's vintages all benefit from great aging potential. It is also strongly advised not to taste them before at least five years of aging.

Terroir: The “Les Charrières” plot of only 0.62 ha is located on a gentle slope below the “Clos de la Roche”.
