Pauillac

Are you looking for an anthology wine? Mouton Rothschild's reputation is well established. This estate is a premier grand cru that only a few Bordeaux châteaux have the honour of producing, such as Château Margaux, Latour, Lafite and Haut-Brion.
Every year since 1945, the label has been illustrated by a famous artist (Miro, Picasso or Chagall for example)
In 2007, Bernard Venet was chosen to illustrate the label of the famous house.
Find below the tasting notes of the Château:
The color is an intense garnet with brilliant reflections.
The Cabernet Sauvignon here expresses all its depth and finesse through aromas of vanilla, bitter almond, nutmeg but also, upon aeration, subtle mineral notes.
Very supple on the palate, this Mouton Rothschild presents a perfect harmony on a linear structure that combines full-bodied tannins with a pleasant menthol freshness. The finish is complex and ends on spicy notes and very ripe fruit.
A great success for this vintage, where the blend takes advantage of the best of the two grape varieties at full maturity: the body and complexity of the Cabernet and the aromatic depth of the Merlot.
