The Champagne appellation is based on a unique terroir of 34,000 hectares, benefiting from exceptional chalky soil which promotes the finesse and minerality of the wines.

The Mumm Grand Cordon 1989 is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, selected from the best vintages. A prestige cuvée from the Mumm house, the Grand Cordon is only produced in great vintages. Aged for several years in the cellar, this champagne reveals complex aromas of brioche, dried fruits and honey, with a beautiful liveliness on the palate and a long mineral finish.
