Chateau Pavie 1994 - Saint-Emilion
During the first classification of the Crus de St-Emilion in 1955, Château Pavie was classified B. Since 2012, they have gained ground and are now Premier Cru Classé A, which testifies to the quality of the wines and the seriousness of the estate. Château Pavie is distinguished by a great diversity of terroirs.
The annual production of Château Pavie amounts to 70,000 bottles. Aged in barrels for 18 to 32 months and 70% to 100% new wood depending on the vintage.
The 1994 vintage is a vintage of good quality but irregular. After a hot and dry summer, heavy rains came to alter the harvests. But the Merlot, present mainly in the Chateau Pavie, did very well. This data coupled with the prestigious know-how of the Chateau Pavie, assures you a very good tasting moment.
