The Pol Roger estate in Epernay was founded in 1848, when Pol Roger, aged 18, sold his first bottles. The house of Epernay has remained family-run. It is known for being Winston Churchill's favourite champagne. It is also the benchmark wine of the English court, and was notably served at the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The 1998 vintage, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, offers us a nose of ripe fruit and roasting as well as a beautiful length in the mouth and real complexity. A champagne of character that deserves to be known!

Tasted in December 2020, this Champagne offers incredible freshness and youth and can wait many more years in the cellar.
