Although it ranks second in the 1855 ranking, Château Rauzan-Gassies is far from being the most tasted in Margaux. It must be said that with "only" 120,000 bottles per year, it is far from being one of the largest châteaux in terms of production volume. However, it demonstrates great consistency and a style that is very representative of the Margaux appellation and, in our opinion, deserves a little more recognition.

The estate practices a one-year aging in 50% new wood. Young, the wine is quite powerful but balanced and will require a few years of aging to express itself perfectly.

2015 Vintage: An exceptional vintage for Cabernet Sauvignon, which is very much present in the blend. The wine is generous and rich, with soft tannins and impressive flavors.
