THE HISTORY Louis Baisinbert wines were born from the passion of three Burgundy wine lovers who created a Haute Couture company with an exclusive focus on quality.
Their approach: selecting specific vintages from the best independent winegrowers in Burgundy.
The wines are presented in innovative bottles with a unique design, but always respecting the codes and traditions of Burgundy.
A fine red Burgundy wine in a limited edition 2014: 1200 bottles 100% Pinot Noir
Heavy soils and a good southern exposure guarantee a great climate for the "Serpentières". Before being called "Les Serpentières", the climate was called "La Serpentine", which refers to a specific type of snake in Burgundy.
12 to 20 months in French Oak give it a dark ruby color with subtle purple highlights.
It is a very elegant wine with aromatic notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, wood smoke, game birds, and chocolate.
On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite mellow on the attack, with ripe tannins and a nice depth in the mid-palate.
Louis Baisinbert wines are on the wine list of the prestigious restaurants of French chef Joel Robuchon
