Smith Haut Lafitte 2012 - Graves

Everything is going well for Château Smith Haut Lafitte since it was taken over by the Cathiard family. After heavy investments in modernization, the wine has regained its former prestige.

Here, wine is not standardized; the vintages have a style specific to each vintage.

The 2012 is no exception to the spirit of the house. It is exactly what we like at WUAT. A powerful, tannic, dry and almost austere wine, quite a program.

This makes it a great wine for laying down which will develop an exceptional aroma in a few years.

If you taste it before 2022, we advise you to open it 4 to 6 hours before tasting or to decant it for at least an hour. You will not be disappointed.
