Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots" 1983 - Confuron-Cotedidot

Known for its aging potential, this Vosne-Romanée is produced by one of the best producers on the Côte de Nuits.

Quite rare for this type of vintage, it involves vinification using whole bunches (the stalks and the grains are pressed and fermented at the same time to extract the tannins and the particular aromas of the stalk).

This wine is thus very concentrated, tannic, with typical notes of very ripe black fruits and earth.

If you are in a hurry, a decanting is a must. But it is probably best to enjoy it slowly. If you want the ultimate pairing, pair it with a braised potato sprinkled with a few thin slices of black truffles.
