Rhône Valley

The white Côtes du Rhône are dry wines.

They are produced in the Rhône-Méridionale region. The vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate.

The main white grape varieties are Grenache blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Bourboulenc or Clairette.

If we find generic white Côtes du Rhône, the appellations that stand out are especially Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Château Grillet or even L'Hermitage but also know that Châteauneuf-du-Pape also produces white.

If the Condrieu will give rather rich wines, the Saint-Joseph will offer fresher, less "fatty" wines.
