2014
The 2014 vintage in turn suffers the curse of vintages in 4, it is the same as the 7, but as always, do not panic, if it is a symbolic year for you, birth, meeting, marriage, we always find regions and appellations that stand out!
In Alsace, prefer Rieslings, Sylvaners and Pinots Noirs.
Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe stand out in Bordeaux as well as Graves (red and white), they even have a great aging potential! The sweet Bordeaux wines, as they often do, also stand out.
The Côtes de Beaune and Nuits Rouges are also in the spotlight. The whites of the Côte de Beaune are fresh even if the Meursault have suffered a little from the hail. Pouilly-Fuissé is also doing very well.
In Champagne, Pinots Noirs are particularly successful!
The Sancerres and Vouvrays, in the Loire, are harmonious.
The whites of the Côtes du Rhône are fresh and tense, the reds are charming in Cornas and are generally successful throughout the region.
