It was Michel Bécot who acquired this estate in 1969, since then it has remained in the family.
After a few acquisitions, the vineyard of the Château now reaches the size of 16 hectares and 60 ares, on a homogeneous terroir in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyard, which earned it the classification as a first Grand Cru Classé B in 1996. Merlot is the majority, followed by Cabernet Francs and Sauvignon to complete.
All the critics of the wine world salute the elegance of the wines produced, year after year, and the family know-how.
At the tasting, this Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2014 has an expressive nose, on beautiful notes of coffee, which give it a lot of charm as well as the finesse of the tannins. The mouth is fruity. Do not hesitate to decant it to reveal all its complexity.
