The vines of La Mondotte extend over 4.5 hectares on clay-limestone soil located east of Saint-Emilion.
The conditions are optimal for producing a Premier Grand Cru Classé.
The water regulation is excellent and the rooting of the vines deep because the clayey soils rest on a rocky substrate.
The property dates from the 19th century and is now certified Organic Agriculture since 2014.
