The Angélus vineyard is located in the heart of a natural amphitheater, dominated by the three churches of Saint-Emilion.

Ahead of Le Carillon, N°3 and Tempo, Château Angelus is the great cuvée of the eponymous estate.

At the tasting, this Angelus 2016 is superb. On the nose, morello cherries, fresh red fruits, some aromas of spices, menthol, very expressive. On the palate, the tannins are ample and well structured, with crunchy fruit, substance and delicacy. A very balanced, fresh and dense wine.

Angelus has a habit of giving a name to its vintages. 2016 is "Le Rayonnant" a wine full of sunshine, perfectly ripe balanced and suitable for a very long aging. He will probably be one of the cellar legends of tomorrow.
