The vineyard of Château Malartic-Lagravière which has around fifty hectares in total, 90% of which produce the red cuvée.
The harvest took place between September 9 and 15 for the Merlots and between September 23 and 26 for the Cabernets.
Opinion of WUAT: We tasted this wine in November 2021. To put it simply, it is a real Bordeaux, with smoky notes, dry herbs and undergrowth. Tasted at the same time as a 2005 Domaine de Chevalier (just that), it did not look pale. He even got the preference of a good part of the public. The structure is still important, he can wait several years without difficulty.
If you are looking for a pleasant Bordeaux for a pairing with a powerful dish, this 2003 Malartic offers excellent value for money.
