Château Haut-Brion 1993 - Pessac-Léognan
Are you looking for a legendary wine? Then you will not be disappointed with Château Haut-Brion. If you need to choose a 1993 vintage from among the 5 premier cru classé, this is the bottle for you.
Haut-Brion wines are of exceptional quality with a very high aging potential. The estate is always at the forefront of innovation, whether in the vineyard or in the cellar.
"A great wine is a wine that we remember" is the motto at Château Haut-Brion. There is no doubt that the mission is fully accomplished for the oldest wine estate in the region of Pessac with an international reputation.
The 1993 vintage was very complicated for Médocs wines because of the heavy rains which fell during the harvest. The Graves, including Haut-Brion, were less impacted because the harvests are earlier there. This 1993 vintage of Haut-Brion is therefore one of the most beautiful successes of the vintage with 90-94 points. Concentrated and powerful, it offers a tertiary aromatic of mushrooms, humus and undergrowth and has good aging potential.
NB: As often with Haut-Brion at that time, the ink on the label has disappeared. But the level and condition of the cork testify to an excellent aging condition.
