La Parde de Haut-Bailly 2010 - Graves (Haut-Bailly II)

La Parde de Haut-Bailly is the second wine of Château Haut-Bailly. It is now renamed Haut-Bailly II. It comes from the same plots as the first wine and vinified with great care.

This vintage was created in 1967, the Château Haut-Bailly was then one of the precursors to produce a second wine.

The selection is strict, indeed, the grapes which do not have the desired quality are downgraded to 3rd wine, Pessac-Léognan, since 1987.

After a vinification identical to that of the 1st wine, "La Parde" benefits from aging in barrels for 12 months.

The 2010 vintage presents a harmonious structure, an intense color as well as fruity and floral aromas and powerful and creamy tannins. A nice acidity brings a superb freshness.

It is a charming wine, to be enjoyed now or left to rest in the cellar for a few more years.
