Vin Jaune 1989 - Côtes du Jura - Fruitière Vinicole de Voiteur
Exclusively obtained from the Savagnin grape variety, the Vin Jaune acquires its characteristic nutty taste during six years of aging in oak barrels. This very long-keeping wine (20 years and more) goes well with spicy dishes, white meats and fish in cream sauce. It will also marry beautifully with cheeses with cooked pasta such as Comté.
Serving tip: to be enjoyed slightly at room temperature between 15° and 17° after an hour of opening.
About the vintage: As often, the 1989 vintage offers great successes for wines from the Jura region, whether red or white.
