Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" 1989 - Domaine Pinson
The winemaking history of the Pinson family in Chablis dates back to the 17th century. The domain has evolved a lot since then, of course, notably with the successive arrival of the brothers Laurent and Christophe Pinson in 1983 and 1987.
A family story that still continues since Charlène, Laurent's daughter joined the domain in 2008.
The estate has grown since 1982, going from 4 to 14 hectares and many modernization works were undertaken in mid-2000.
Several Chablis wines medals have been awarded to them, in particular the Gold Medal for the 2015 vintage of this cuvée: Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos".
We present here an old bottle of the same vintage from 1989.
An excellent vintage in Chablis! A very hot year.
The 80s produced very good cuvées in general on Chablis, the 4 to remember in particular are 81, 82, 83 and 89.
