Corton "Les Renardes" Grand Cru 2010 - Pierre André
Since 1923, Pierre André, installed at the Château de Corton-André in Aloxe-Corton, has been renowned throughout the world for his prestigious Domaine de Bourgogne located in the heart of the most illustrious wines of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.
The Château de Corton-André is today the symbol of tradition in Burgundy. It is the only Château in the Côte de Beaune located in the Grands Crus appellations.
Pierre André fell in love with Château Corton (also called Château Jaune for its glazed tiles), which he acquired in 1923. Since 2002 the estate has changed hands, passing in 2002 between those of the Ballande group before d be acquired in 2015 by the Frey group (Billecart-Salmon, La Lagune, Jaboulet-Aîné).
The 2010 vintage is an absolute success throughout Burgundy. The particularly low yields, the great aromatic concentration of the berries and the perfect sugar / acidity balance have produced great wines for laying down. This Corton will keep safely for 30 years.
