This small plot of 1.24 ha with limestone soil produces very powerful and complex wines. Earthy, woody and spicy notes are to be expected from this Beaune 1er cru.
Aging for 14 months in oak barrels, 30% of which is new wood. Bottling without fining or filtration.
About the 2005 vintage: This is an exceptional one characterized by its expressive nose of red fruits and its mouth mixing aromatic complexity and velvet texture; A wine that will quickly please as well as being kept for at least ten years!
Tasting advice: This bottle should spend at least 1 hour in a carafe to begin to express itself properly.
