Property of Bernard Magrez since 1985, the Château Pape Clément knows a remarkable regularity.
The wine is very balanced; cabernet sauvignon brings power and tannins. Merlot brings smoothness and fruity.
This balance mixed with a minerality and a significant acidity allow him to cross the time.
This 2006 offers a very good price / pleasure ratio. The year 2006 is not higly priced in Bordeaux. Nevertheless Pape Clément made a very great wine. Ample, dense and fruity without being heavy, it offers an endless length and finish.
