Smith Haut Lafitte 2012 - Graves

Everything is going for the best for Château Smith Haut Lafitte since it was taken over by the Cathiard family. After heavy investments in modernization, the wine has regained its former prestige.

Here wine is not standardized, the cuvées have a style specific to each vintage.

The 2012 is no exception to the house spirit. He is exactly what we love at WUAT. A powerful, tannic, dry and almost austere wine, quite a program.

This makes it a great wine for aging which will display extraordinary aromas within a few years.

If you taste it before 2022 we advise you to open it 4 to 6 hours before tasting or to place it in a carafe at least one hour. You will not be disappointed.
