Château Haut-Brion 1994 - Pessac-Léognan
Are you looking for a legendary wine? Then you will not be disappointed with Château Haut-Brion. If you need a 1994 vintage to be chosen from among the 5 premier cru classé, this may be the bottle for you.
Haut-Brion wines are of exceptional quality with a very high aging potential. The estate is always at the forefront of innovation, whether in the vineyard or in the cellar.
"A great wine is a wine that we remember" is the motto at Château Haut-Brion. There is no doubt that the mission is fully accomplished for the oldest wine estate in the region of Pessac with an international reputation.
The 1994 vintage is similar in many ways to the 1993 vintage: In Médocs, heavy rains fell during the harvest. The Graves, including Haut-Brion, were less impacted because the harvests are earlier there. This 1994 vintage of Haut-Brion is therefore one of the greatest successes of the vintage with 92-94 points. Concentrated and powerful, it offers a tertiary aromatic of truffles, dry herbs, liquorice and blackberries.
NB: Oh miracle, the ink held on this label. However, other Haut-Brion from the same period and from the same cellar were not so lucky. The level and condition of the cap testify to an excellent aging condition.
