The Grand Vin de Léoville comes from exceptional terroirs located mainly in the Clos de Léoville Las Cases towards Pauillac.
Clos du Marquis de Las Cases is a powerful, tannic wine with a very classic style that will require a few years of aging to be fully appreciated. Contrary to what one might think, this is not a second wine, but a very old Clos with its own style.
This 2007 is approaching its peak. You should be able to taste it after a short opening hour.
