St-Georges-St-Emilion 1990 - Dubois Challon
Level: Bottleneck
Label: Slightly stained
Overall condition: Excellent
We have great difficulty finding information about this cuvée. We believe that there is a link between Jean Dubois Challon, who also owns the Château Bel-Air 1er cru Classé de Saint-Emilion, which has since become Château Belair Monange (a whole program) and the Château Tour du Pas St-Georges.
It is therefore difficult to understand why this cuvée was produced in 1990 knowing that it is an excellent vintage. If you have any information about this vintage, please let us know.
Other cuvées of a similar style were produced in Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion. Given the design of the label, we believe that this cuvée was at the origin of the cuvée "Le Sablier" of the Château tour du Pas St-Georges which still exists today.
Please note: This is a Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion appellation although we have classified it as Saint-Emilion.
