WUAT's opinion: In our opinion, the soft vouvray is particularly subtle given its quality. We have never been disappointed with these magnificent chenin blanc.
But we understand that these are wines that we do not really know when to taste and how to pair it.
The old vouvrays evolve towards notes of beeswax, honey, sweet spices (cannel, nutmeg), applesauce and tarte tatin, while keeping a frank acidity.
These wines are particularly suitable for sweet / savory meals, sushi, oily fish. Sit down to taste this type of wine with a gravlax salmon, a pure marvel. Just try to avoid dishes with sauces that are too rich or too fatty which may make the wedding a little overwhelming.
