It was Michel Bécot who acquired this estate in 1969, since then it has remained in the family.
After a few acquisitions, the vineyard of the Château now reaches the size of 16 hectares and 60 ares, on a homogeneous terroir in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyard, which earned it the classification as a first Grand Cru Classé B in 1996. Merlot is the majority, followed by Cabernet Francs and Sauvignon to complete.
All the critics of the wine world salute the elegance of the wines produced, year after year, and the family know-how.
At the tasting, this Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2015 has a very expressive nose. The wine is dense, elegant and refined with superb length, without the usual fleshiness and voluptuousness. The most elegant Bau-Séjour Bécot of recent years, which may confuse more than one.
Will you be tempted by this superb tasting in perspective?
