Established on a magnificent terroir of gravel with a clay-limestone subsoil. Clos René extends over 12 hectares under sustainable management. The grape varieties of this Pomerol are original with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec. After traditional vinification, the wine is aged in 25% new oak barrels.
