A very typical Médoc wine thanks to its high proportion of Cabernet sauvignon. Powerful, full-bodied and oaky tannic. It has an important aging potential. The 2001 vintage is one of the finest successes for this château which could, in blind tasting, outclass much more highly rated references.
"The color is an intense and dark red. The nose is very expressive. It presents aromas of fruits, such as prune and cherry, to which are added scents of white flowers and a touch delicately toasted with airing. Sculpted for a bright future, this wine imposes its powerful structure at the outset with tight tannins that are still firm for a while. Very persistent, it leaves a thirst-quenching and dry sensation "
