Château Gilette in Sauternes, the great specialist in immortal sweet wines

Château Gilette is a 4.5 hectare estate located in the village of Preignac in Sauternes. The estate is unique in the region in its tradition of prolonged aging of its sweet white wines before marketing and, in most cases, the wines will spend 15 to 20 years in concrete vats and minimal (if any) aging in barrels.

The flagship wine of Château Gilette is the Crème de Tête made in varying volumes from the first juices from the press. Gilette wines (including Crème de Tête) are a blend mainly of Sémillon, with a little Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
