Belle Epoque Rosé 2010 - Champagne Perrier-Jouet
Overall condition: Perfect
Champagne Perrier-Jouet Cuvée Belle Epoque Rosé 2010
Cuvée 100% Grand cru from the sublime terroirs of Cramant. 6 years minimum aging in the cellars of Maison Perrier-Jouet.
2010 is a particular vintage in Champagne. The perfect winter was followed by a hot spring and summer. But abundant rainfall in August and during the harvest undermined the quality of the grapes. Maison Perrier-Jouet proceeded to an extremely rigorous sorting and devoted the best of the harvest to the Belle Epoque Rosé cuvée, a cuvée whose style was favored by the particular conditions. It is also the only vintage vintage of the house in 2010. Characterized by a remarkable vinosity, it is a particularly rare cuvée.
Notes of white fruits and citrus fruits followed by beautiful notes of exotic fruits to finish with notes of spices. Quite simply a very great champagne. To be enjoyed now or to wait for many, many years.
White glass bottles are certainly very beautiful, but they do not protect wines from light rays. We take particular, almost obsessive, care to protect our bottles.
