La Grande Dame 2006 - Champagne Veuve Clicquot
Starting from 1972 for the bicentenary of Maison Veuve Clicquot, this cuvée pays homage to Madame Clicquot, nicknamed "La Grande Dame de la Champagne". It constitutes the ultimate expression of Pinot Noir through the VCP style.
Blend :
- 53% Pinot Noir : Grands Crus d'Aÿ pour la Grande Vallée de la Marne, Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay et Bouzy pour la Montagne de Reims
- 47% Chardonnay : Grand Cru du Mesnil-Sur-Oger, Avize, Oger sur la Côte des Blancs
Dosage: 8g / L
Tasting Notes:
- Color: Bright with golden reflections, very fine and shimmering bubbles
- Nose: Mineral and floral, fresh fruit, toasted notes
- Mouth: Lots of flesh and substance. Crunchy and silky texture
- Long finish that coats the palate.
