This is THE great cuvée from Taittinger. Those who have already tasted it will be able to tell you that the Comtes are not an overrated "marketing" cuvée. Only 35 vintages have been produced since the first cuvée in 1952. Many of them, highly sought after, are now impossible to find or unaffordable.

From the best Chardonnay crus of the Côte des Blancs, this cuvée has benefited from the full attention of Maison Taittinger to offer you a Champagne that remains in the memory of tasters.

About the 2006 vintage: Mostly warm, the Chardonnays are ripe, fine and balanced. The nose presents notes of citrus fruits and white flowers. The mouth is powerful, fresh and extremely complex, offering an aromatic diversity of a rare level. This vintage is particularly successful for this great Taittinger cuvée. It can be enjoyed today after a few minutes of opening or in several decades.
