Le Clos du Mesnil is THE emblematic cuvée of the Krug brand, it is known and desired by champagne lovers all over the world. From a small vineyard of only 1.84 hectares located in the heart of the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, this cuvée was produced in only 11,390 copies in 2000.

The stone enclosure built in 1698 is exclusively planted with Chardonnay grapes. As in many vineyards, the clos protects the best plots from bad weather and stores the heat of the day to release it at night and ensure perfect ripening of the grapes.

This high-quality wooden box includes, as with all vintage cuvées from Krug, a small descriptive booklet indicating the best food and wine pairings and the characteristics of the 2000 vintage.
