Maison Moillard was created in 1850 by Symphorien Moillard.
Historically based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Côte de Nuits, the estate produces wines from the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune with respect for tradition.
The domain extends from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Volnay over some twenty hectares. Half of the wines produced are premier crus.
Old documents reveal that the Moillard family already owned vineyards before the French Revolution.
