Meursault 1986 - Charles Jobard (Now Rémi Jobard)
The Jobard estate has been run by the same family for several generations. Charles Jobard is the father of Remi and the brother of François Jobard, whose estate is also very well known. Charles ran the estate for many years before taking over in 1991. While Remi Jobard's wines are well known, which are highly sought after but "findable", his father's old vintages are almost impossible to find.
About the 1986 vintage in Meursault: It is an average vintage, the very pale and translucent color of this bottle testifies to a good condition of conservation. This bottle could be a very big and nice surprise.
