The Latour domain has existed in Meursault since 1792. It kept the Latour-Labille name until 2011 when it became the Vincent Latour domain.
The estate's wines are matured for 12 months in 600-liter demi-muids, a small proportion of which are new barrels. The goal is not to mask the aromas of the wine.
This Premier Cru "Charmes" cuvée comes from a plot of only 0.33ha with clay-limestone soil typical of Meursault. Fermentation in oak barrels including 10% new barrels and aging for 12 months. Then 4 to 6 months in tank.
The wines from this estate age particularly well, we have tasted a few bottles, no trace of oxidation. You can taste this bottle today or wait another 20 years.
