In the 12th century Hugues le Roux, Duke of Burgundy, made the Château aux Moines de Cîteaux. The latter dug the cellars of which the estate can be proud today.
About the 1990 vintage in Meursault: This is an exceptional vintage rated (8/10) in the same way as 2005 or 1961!
Today the Château de Meursault produces Meursault from different localities. Hence the existence of several vintages including the "Meursault du Château"
This crystal-clear bottle shows excellent conservation, probably not marked by oxidation. A very rare Meursault not to be missed.
