It's hard not to be influenced by tasting. This is why we advise you, if you are a player, to have it tasted blind.
The trend of this castle continues to climb since a certain "flying winemaker" took an interest in it. Added to this is the fact that this domain produces as many bottles as a small domain of Burgundy or Champagne, around 25,000 bottles per year, making it relatively rare.
The terroir and the long aging in barrels of this Pomerol allow it to age easily over 20 years. The magnum format, particularly suitable for aging, and the excellent state of conservation of these bottles, suggest great tasting moments for this fantastic 1989 vintage.
A wine to taste at least once in a lifetime, but for that, you have to find it.
