This castle belonged to the Constant family, owner of Clinet, before being bought by the Moueix family in 1950.
The estate took off in 1994 after the acquisition of 4 ha of vines which belonged to Chateau Le Gay. It is the neighbor of the Petrus and Lafleur estates. The Moueix Family owns, among others, Trotanoy, Lagrange, Latour, and Dominus in Napa Valley.

Production of 45,000 bottles per year. Vines aged 35 years on average, around 80% Merlot - 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
