Château de Sales 1989 - Pomerol
Built in the 17th century, Château de Sales has been passed down in the family for 500 years.
It is the largest domain in Pomerol with its 47.6 ha.
Always well balanced and of very consistent quality, Château de Sales is a real Pomerol with a recognizable style.
If it is less opulent than its famous neighbors (Petrus, Le pin, etc.) it is very far from being without character.
The 1989 vintage is a success in Pomerol and for many Château Bordelais, it's a tannic and rich wine, its style differs a little from the habits of the house. Its very present tannins are perfectly integrated.
A passage in a carafe is not necessary. We advise you to simply pour it into tall glasses and let it breathe for a quarter of an hour before tasting it.
